On Septemer 18, 2014, the 1,8 meters high sculpture of one of the most famous Šiauliai industrialists ever Chaimas Frenkelis was built (author Romualdas Kvintas). The sculpture of Chaimas Frenkelis was built on the pedestal marked by red soles. Chaimas Frenkelis here is portrayed as a calm, self-confident person who is at the same time warm and caring. Red traces on the pedestal symbolize famous red waterproof soles produced at the Chaimas Frenkelis factory, which accounted for about 80 per cent of factory output.
