In Paraudžiai hill ridge there is a cluster of more than ten little lakes. Such lake density is rare in Lithuania. By following the tourist trail, in a couple of hours, you can see 10 lakes: Bijotė, Geluva, Kurtuva, Šermukšnynas, Raudinukas, Barsukynas, Dubukas, Širva, Butiškė, Juodežeris, and Niauka. The lakes are separated by high hills covered in forests. Pageluvis Landscape Reserve and the NATURA 2000 Habitat Protection Area have been established in order to preserve the complex.
