104 years ago, on February 16, the Council of Lithuania signed the Act of Independence in Vilnius and announced the restoration of the independent state of Lithuania! We invite you to commemorate this historic date on February 16 at 1:30 p.m. (after St. Mass), Šiauliai St. At the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, where Camerata Solaris and violin virtuoso Vilhelmas Čepinskis will present a special concert to the audience and even the premiere of two arrangements of violin and string orchestra.
In the program specially prepared for the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania:
V. Kudirka's Lithuanian National Anthem (for V. Čepinskis arr. Violin and string orchestra),
J. Oujalis, Maironis “Oh Never, Matušėle” (V. Čepinskis arr. 2 for violin and string orchestra),
MK Čiurlionis String Quartet in C minor (V. Čepinskis' version for string orchestra).
The concert is free! Respirators at least FFP2 level, close to the face and completely covering the nose and mouth must be worn during the event. It is necessary to comply with all security requirements specified by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
