THE LIGHT OF OUR SATELLITES

Each of us carries a personal “universeˮ – shaped by the people, memories, events, and sensations that define our inner and outer worlds. Some have been with us always; others flare up like meteors and vanish, leaving an indelible trace. There are also those who, once they enter our orbit, continue to circle within our gravitationalfield for years – sometimes becoming almost imperceptible, yet  never disappearing completely. These “satellitesˮ – our visible and invisible companions – are the ones that fill and shape the orbits and trajectories of our lives.

I dedicate this exhibition to all who, in one way or another, have stood beside me and left meaningful, enduring imprints on my life. To those who still walk beside me, and to those who have already departed yet continue to shine softly like faint points of light in the sky of my memory. In the exhibitionʼs spatial field, the painterly and graphic satellites create a symbolic bridge between presence and absence, between the living and the once-living, between the graspable outer reality and the inner currents of feeling. Colour fields, pulsating lines, and fragments of imagery become echo waves returning to me from these companions. Each work is a radio signal sent into space, hoping to catch a response. Ultimately, “Satellitesˮ is a story about attachment and release – about connections that cross the boundaries of time and space, and about people as sources of light who continue to shimmer quietly even in the darkness of eternity.
