MO has been traveling around Lithuania since before it opened its doors – since 2017. Traveling educational activities for children and adults have developed into traveling exhibitions around Lithuanian cities. We continue this tradition in 2024! This year fragments of the big exhibition “Vilnius Poker” are coming to MO.
“Vilnius is everywhere. In every real city, you can find the houses, streets, and people of Vilnius”, writes Ričardas Gavelis in the novel “Vilnius Poker”. This exhibition, like one of the most important works of contemporary Lithuanian literature, is not just a story about Vilnius: its center is the theme of the universal struggle for the freedom of reason, creativity, man and society.
Residents of any corner of the world can rethink their city and its transformation in “Vilnius Poker”. We invite you to play the pokers of Šiauliai, Panevėžys and Marijampolė and ask – what do they have in common, what is unique?
