- Most of the main attractions are located in the city centre and can be reached on foot.
- On the last weekend in August, only in Šiauliai, the events of “Šiauliai Nights” take place, while the second weekend in September (Friday-Saturday) is the city’s birthday with its “Šiauliai Days”, which is the biggest event of the year.
