At the end of 2017 the opening ceremony of the modern swimming pool was held in Radviliškis. Two-story building has 6 swimming tracks (each 25 m in length). Two meter depth tracks meet the requirements necessary to organize European competitions. For children’s lessons the floor of two tracks can be raised up: the depth at the end of one these tracks is 1 m, the other one - 85 cm.
There is a jacuzzi as well as Turkish, Russian, infrared rays baths, a sauna and the platform for onlookers. Regular rescuers keep watch over the swimmers. In future there will be rooms for sports judges, massage rooms, a gym, and a solarium. For visitors convenience - 120 changing rooms.
There can be about 300 people at the same time in the swimming pool. Water temperature in the large pool is 28 degrees, in children’s relaxation area near the large swimming pool and in jacuzzi 34 degrees. Ladders are installed in all corners of the pool, and there is a hydraulic lift for the disabled. Swimming pool bottom is cleaned by the robot.
Much attention is paid to children, their health and physical fitness. The new, modern swimming pool is open to everyone who cares for health, who wants to learn to swim, spend leisure time actively, watch sports competitions, or even start an athlete’s career.
