This is a small decorative sculpture depicting a fried piglet in a copper bowl, hung with a string of sausages. It was intended to put something into the piglet’s mouth: a nickel-plated apple or nickel-plated leaves, but the idea was not fully fulfilled and the mouth remained empty.

In its time, this accent  advertised a specialty butcher shop on the pedestrian boulevard. The shop is long gone, so in 2002, it was decided to remove the rotten column and to assemble the fried pig on a tin column at the intersection of Vilniaus and Tilžės streets, next to the building of the Photography Museum.
