The commemorative plaque on the building in Šiauliai, housing Šiauliai Bank, gives a sense to the memory of world litvak Victor David Brenner. He is the author one USA cent with the portrait of Abraham Lincoln.
The commemorative plaque with the texts in the Lithuanian and Yiddish languages is related to this prominent person and to the history of the building: between 1921-1941, the building housed Jewish Peoples Bank of Lithuania and since 1992, the only Lithuanian bank in Lithuania – Šiauliai Bank, which was founded and has been operating here for almost 25 years. The author of the commemorative plaque is professor Vaidotas Janulis. It was unveiled in December 2016.
