Eternal light

29 years have passed since the historic visit, when the Pope came to Lithuania for the first time. After getting off the plane, John Paul II knelt down and kissed the ground of Lithuania. His several-day visit provided great moral and diplomatic support to newly independent Lithuania, strengthened the spirit of the nation and the sense of unity. On this special occasion, the Šiauliai city concert institution "Saulė" celebrated on September 4. at 2 p.m. Šiauliai St. The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (57 Gegužių St.) is hosting a concert called "The Eternal Light".
