ARCHAEOLOGICAL JEWELERY

For children and school children

Ancient people believed in the powers of nature and tried to replicate them in jewellery. After learning to work with metal, Lithuanians started making jewellery from it. The earliest metal ware found was made of brass, which was widely used to make jewellery throughout the Iron Age. The shape of the jewellery was changing, each region had something unique. During the session at the museum, we will try to recreate the jewellery of Baltic origin – sun-shaped pendants and rings.

For 8–12 grade students and for adults.
Price per person – 4 Eur (no discounts).
Education can be conducted in English and Russian.
